John Cena, an American professional wrestler, actor and TV host started his professional wrestling career in 1999 with Ultimate Pro Wrestling and won the UPH Heavyweight Championship the following year. He is signed to WWE where he performs on the SmackDown brand and Nikki Bella is also an American professional wrestler, actress and model signed to WWE and was assigned to developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) alongside her twin sister Brie Bella, forming the duo The Bella Twins. Bella is a two-time WWE Divas Champion.
John and Nikki get engaged at Wrestlemania. The proposal came after he and Nikki beat The Miz and his wife, Maryse in a tag-team match at WrestleMania 33.
John got down on one knee and proposed to Nikki, the Fearless Superstar. The Wrestling Observer's Bryan Alvarez joked it finally answered one of the biggest questions about Cena's in-ring career:
Cena's failure to propose earlier was a part of the rivalry that led him and Nikki to cross paths with The Miz and Maryse at WrestleMania.
