Grab, formerly known as Grab taxi, is a smartphone-based taxi, booking and dispatching service. Grab provides your transparency in information of your taxi booking -- driver's name, plate number, phone number, and estimated fare.
Recently, there's a story of a Grab driver that touched the online world. Nix Obispo, a Facebook user used her social media account to share her experience with the kind Grab driver named Joven.
According to Nix, she booked a Grab taxi because she felt the need to be rushed to an emergency room after feeling a severe pain in her stomach that is similar to ulcer pain. Nix live on her own and her family are all in the province, so she have no one but herself to take her to the hospital.
She then kindly asked the driver to bring her to the Medical City in Ortigas in the fastest way that he could.

The driver, Joven, then did his best to reach the hospital and once they are in the emergency room, Joven refused to accept Nix's payment. But still, Nix insisted to pay.
Nix thought that Joven would leave after bringing her to the hospital, but she was surprised when Joven expressed his willingness to stay and look after her. Joven stayed in the hospital during the entire time Nix was being examined.
She was then given medical treatments that put her to sleep and once she woke up, she still saw Joven, watching over her, sitting on a chair near the foot of Nis's bed.
When the driver noticed her waking up, he went to Nix's side and said: "Maam, sabi po ng doctor, buti daw po nakatulog kayo. Kamusta na po pakiramdam nyo?"
Nix answered: "Medyo okay naman na pero may pain pa din eh. Baka matagalan pa ko. Una ka na, kuya. Thank you."
He said: "Basta maam, i-text nyo ko pag okay na kayo tsaka pag nakauwi na kayo ha."
Nix thanked the driver again after that. And then he left. 5 minutes later, Nix got a text from the Grab driver telling her to get well.
Nix replied Joven when she got home feeling more than grateful for his help and for him being there with her. Joven’s little act of kindness amazed Nix as she did not expect it from a stranger she just met.
