Gerald Anderson is a Filipino-American film and television actor, brand ambassador and TV producer. He was born in Subic Bay, Zambales but when he was 3-years old, they moved to Texas and later to Missouri. But at 14, he and his family moved back to the Philippines in General Santos City, a place Gerald now calls home.
Recently, Gerald went to General Santos City to surprise his mother. He haven't seen his mom for a while that's why he decided to go home and surprise her.
The Kapamilya actor shared a video of his surprise visit to his mom with a caption: “Isusuprise ko mama ko. Habang ngpapakain siya ng mga alagaang hayop niya.”
The video shows Gerald quietly opening the gate of their house, searching for his mom. His aunt said that his loving mom was feeding the chickens and the pigs in the pigpen. He told the residents there to keep quiet about his surprise visit. He then waited for his mom to come out after feeding her pigs at the backyard.
When his mother finally saw him, she could not help but cry hard and hug him tight! Gerald was also visibly emotional, as he laughed while hugging his affectionate mother.
The sweet moment was caught on video and was posted by Gerald on his Instagram account.
