Fire Hits Trinoma Mall In Quezon Cty, Raised To 2nd Alarm


On Monday afternoon, March 13, a fire broke out in Trinoma Mall in Quezon City. Firefighting volunteer TXT Fire Philippines said the fire was first reported at around 2:25 p.m. According to Quezon City fire marshall SFO4 Albert Flores, the fire has reached second alarm as of posting. 

FO1 Joan De Luna of the Tandang Sora fire substation said the fire reportedly came from an appliance warehouse near the MRT station.

De Luna said the fire was still under investigation and that around 20 fire trucks had been sent to respond.

A tweet from radio dzBB's Glen Juego showed the fire near North Avenue. Photos taken by netizens have shown the smoke coming out of Trinoma mall.
