Man's Plot To Slay His Filipina Wife And 4-Year Old Daughter Exposed After Accidentally Sent Text To His Former Boss Instead To The Hitman He Hired

A 42-year old man named Jeff Lytle of Monroe, Washington allegedly wanted to kill his Filipina wife of six years, Rhoda Mee Funtanilla Lytle who is from the province of Abra. They had a 4-year old daughter. Jeff wanted his family killed over insurance policy.

Apparently, Jeffrey had planned to get the benefits of his Filipina wife's insurance which is worth $1 million. The child also had life insurance worth $500,000.

His evil plan was exposed after sending the "kill plot" messages to his former boss named Robert Alexander instead of the hitman.

Jeffrey's text message to "Shayne" who is presumably the hitman he hired reads: “Hey Shayne hows it going. You remember you said that you would help me kill my wife. I’m going to take you up on that offer.”

“– life insurance is worth 1 million and if you want a bounes (bonus) you can kill [JL]. Her life insurance is 500K.”

“—if you can make it look like a robbery gone wrong or make it an accident she works at Walmart she gets off at 11:00.”
“I’ll split everything with the insurance 50/50”.

Horrified by the text message, Jeffrey's former boss immediately showed the text to the police so they could ensure the safety of Rhoda Mee and her daughter. When Jeffery was in police custody, he claimed that he didn’t mean to send out the text messages. He said he had kept the “murder-for-hire” text messages in his phone’s drafts folder. He speculated that it was actually his four-year-old daughter who might have accidentally sent the messages when she was playing with his phone.

Jeffrey was arrested and charged with criminal solicitation. He is now detained at the Snohomish County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
